Gingerline experience - it's a must!

ONLY THE BRAVE WILL DINE! LAST CHANCE TO GET TICKETS TO THE OH SO SECRET FOOD AND ART FUSION PHENOMENON. I went to this dinner just before Christmas and have to say it was mysterious, fun, delicious and an all round immersive experience. I can't tell you anymore about it as it will ruin the surprise but it was A LOT of fun. Definitely recommend!

Underground immersive dining extravaganza GINGERLINE is soon to release the very last tickets for its solidly sold out secret soiree, Gingerline Jubilee. Taking place in a hidden location along the Jubilee Line and combining, set design, a secret menu and complete immersion in a parallel reality, this is an experience designed for an adventurous palate and a daring spirit.

For those who would like to try the Gingerline experience for themselves , they can book one of the last remaining tickets on TUESDAY 20TH JANUARY @ MIDDAY via http://www.gingerline.co.uk/jubilee/. Ticketed dates will be 25 February - 14 March, 2015. Seats cost £55-£60 and include the full experience including a welcome drink and a delicious four course set menu. All dietary preferences are collected when booking. Guests are texted at 6pm and the evening begins at 7pm sharp.

Since starting life in 2010, Gingerline has amassed a loyal following of foodie enthusiasts. In September last year, when tickets for Gingerline Jubilee went on sale, they went like hotcakes. Now, quietly delighting almost 10,000 guests over the last 5 sold out months, their location, concept and menu still remain secret. It seems in the age of Insta-everything, it is still possible to create a genuine ‘offline’ underground phenomenon. ‘We’ve loved the Jubilee chapter of our Gingerline story, but what we do is always temporary. We continue to reinvent ourselves so our project doesn’t lose it’s magic.’ Says co-founder, Susannah Mountfort.

This is Gingerline’s 11th nomadic dining project; past adventures have seen guests stumble into surreal puppet workshops with marrionette diners, fully fledged fairy tale forests, or most recently a retro spaceshuttle from the Planet Gingerline. All these adventures take place, in the guise of seemingly abandoned buildings.

Here’s what guests can expect:On the night gather near a station anywhere on the Jubilee line around 6pm. Await a text message. Travel to the destination and then follow the clues, guiding you to a hidden top-secret location where a fusion of art, food, performance and fun await you and your fellow diners. Leave your social-media boots at the door and enter a new world of delicious delights including welcome tipple, four-course gastronomic banquet, immersive entertainment and keep-sake memento. Expect to make new friends and be amazed. Afterwards please remember to keep mum about the madness.

Perilla cheesecake is good for you...

...no really it is.

Perilla, a modern bakery established a year ago in the Marylebone area has taken cakes to a whole new level, introducing cheesecakes with anti-ageing benefits.
Owner and head chef Farah Rawi, who is also a qualified personal trainer, is passionate about baking and creating new trends.
The unique Perilla cheesecake comes in several flavours such as blueberry, lemon, raspberry and peanut butter.

A range of sugar free cakes which include red velvet, vanilla, banana, carrot, cheesecakes and more are an ideal alternative for those looking to avoid sugar.

The gluten free cakes range branches out yet further, to offer a luxurious treat for both Coeliac disease sufferers or those simply looking to adopt a gluten free diet.
The design of the bakery takes its inspiration from the stunning Perilla flower, originating from South East Asia.
The aesthetically beautiful interior embraces the natural colours of the flower, purple, white and green to compliment the freshness of both food and environment.
Home style all day lunches including a wide variety of salads, quiches, pies and much more continue the theme of healthy yet indulgent, satisfying both vegetarian and meat lover.
Plans are already underway to expand the Perilla experience across London and internationally in the coming years.
