Review: Pitt Cue Co.

BBQ fare off Carnaby St

What we ate: Pulled pork, pork ribs, chipotle slaw, marrow mash and hunks of home made sourdough.

What we drank: 'Whatever' draught beer and homemade lemonade

The pulled pork was juicy, sweet and super flavourful and had a great gravy too which I happily mopped up with a big hunk of bread. It came with a gorgeous chipotle slaw which was just the right amount of crunchy, spicy and creamy- I asked for the recipe but they said we'll have to wait for their cook book to come out!

The ribs were huge and so tasty, I could have eaten them all day, the marrow mash was a delicious smooth potato and marrow gravy medly that just accentuated the home cooked feel of the whole menu.

We went at around 2 on a Friday and sneaked a seat upstairs but there was a queue forming for larger parties so come prepared to wait.

The atmosphere was a bit like sitting in your nan's front room, if your nan used to be Hell's Angel
